Soul Trail Journey- STJ, is a Kolkata - based, registered domestic travel agency born out of love, cherished memories, and a deep passion for travel. The true inspiration behind this journey comes from the friends and family members who have travelled with one of the partners, Kakoli Dey, over the years, enjoyed her company. They especially appreciated the thoughtful way each journey was crafted, precision, and personal attention and encouraged her to formally begin this venture to keep the spirit of travel alive. Travel brought immense joy, peace, and meaning to all of them, and Soul Trail Journey stands as a heartfelt tribute to their dreams, encouragement, and spirit.
As this vision took shape, Kakoli was joined by her two trusted travelling companions, Sunanda Basu and Sundar Singh. Together, the three travel-loving friends transformed years of shared wanderings into a meaningful mission - to create journeys that are personal, soulful, and thoughtfully crafted, and travel experiences that heal, inspire, and stay close to the heart.
Kakoli
She is a rotarian and a devlopment sector professional. She has travelled extensively across India and abroad, experiencing diverse cultures and landscapes. Yet, it is in the Himalayas where her heart truly heals and feels at home. Sunanda
She, spiritual by nature and warm at heart, brings calm, devotion, and emotional strength to every experience, making journeys especially comforting for relaxed, elderly, and spiritual travellers. Her composed nature and quiet efficiency also play a vital role in managing the back office, ensuring smooth coordination, timely communication, and seamless support behind the scenes. Sundar
He, fondly known as Sonu, a cheerful and dependable Kumaoni youth, is a treasured gift the mountains gave Kakoli and Sunanda. He is a seasoned travel professional and an experienced high altitude trekker who runs his own travel business in the mountains. With years of hands-on experience, he knows the Himalayas like the back of his hand. Sonu brings invaluable local insight, safety awareness, and logistical expertise to every journey.
